I was hoping when I first started playing GW, that additional characters opening storage accounts would get thier own 20 slots that would be tabbed alongside the others and you'd be able to take stuff from one anouther... Oh well. I still want that but that's not gonna happen.

Also I would like to mention that an auction house would help the storage woes. I know id sell a lot of stuff and free up room if I could sell it and I'm not somebody who likes to flog stuff in a channel. I've never done that and never will. Id prefer doing anything but typing in WTS (enter junk name here)...

Dont worry guys soon Anet will allow us to buy more character slots for $10USD which is another 100k storage along with 45 additional space(max bags) per character slot.

how about this idea?....

I have been part of a Guild for a while and in the role I would like to play, I would like to support the Guild with acquiring materials to help out the Guild with their acquiring of needed material for weapon and armor upgrade along with requirements for those quests needing the items.

to support this role I have pondered over some ideas/improvements.

either do both or either one or some of one and all the other......

First thing is increase individual storage.
I feel the storage slots should be increased by the max number of characters in one account. ie two characters = 50 slots, 4 characters = 100 slots
But the storage is tabbed for those character or Character slots ie #1 for first character #2 for the second character. The reason is you pay the money for storage access but never increase it's space, so for those who have paid the dues then the increase in storage would be a better idea then dropping payment after the initial setup fee.

then in a guild enviroment there should be a guild postoffice like storage(25 slots only). like a post office, you would check it based on notice and clear out items after a period of time or the postmaster will do it(auto-purge after 30 days).

reason for this setup is ... say someone in the guild needs the pelts and I can farm them like crazy then i go to the guild hall and leave them(ie i must select the guild memeber's name to leave items) for them in a postoffice like storage. that way we can pass items on if there is no way to meet at the right times.

I don't if this can submitted to the development team for GW, but I think this would be a great idea.

How about this:

put extra storage lockers as an optional upgrade in the online store. hell give an extra one free for every 2 extra character slots purchased. to me one storage per every 2 pve chars is reasonable. right now i have 6 pve chars and the other slots i use for pvp and yeah, one storage just isnt enough.

All of my chars are full, all nine, even my second account is getting heavy. Imagine if GW had D&D rules ala weight slows your chars speed

Well, at least this subject deserves to be resurrected.

Everyone always claims that Anet doesn't increase storage because it would increase server load...

I have three characters that I NEVER play that are only there for storage, and I have not purchased a single extra character slot (and never will, just for more storage).

Now, I wonder which increases the server load more; an extra tab or two of storage, or three characters with armor, weapons, unlocked skill lists, skillbars, title tracks, stats, names, armor colors, revealed maps, etc., etc., etc.

If server load IS the reason behind the measly storage, I wish Anet would think about this.

lol i also have 9 characters, 3 of which are mules.
one with all the dyes, runes, event items, and extra mats that wont fit in storage. one with extra sets of armor for my other charcters and keys. and one with weapons and upgrades, who i get on reguallry to try and sell crap (which is something else they should work on, the whole system of trying to sell and buy crap is ridiculous, but i wont get into that).

I'd like the option where you could store as many sets of armor as you want.. I'm an elementalist fan and likes to collect elementalist armors, so that storage option would help me out tons.

cost 3k each

cost 50g to put it on storage (have to talk to storage upgrader to get it in there)

and you can stack 5 of them

Well, from what I heard, I highly doubt Anet will expand storage space in any way other then trying to change some items to be able to stack. Many people had requested of more storage space since Prophiecies released. It will be nice if we can at least double our storage space.

I've said it before, and will likely say it again.

I'd like a superior rune of storage that can increase bag size to 20 slots. I can understand why a belt doesn't increase, but if we just did increase that to 10 slots that would be awesome. Even just the bags would give a huge increase in storage for extra armors/weapons/etc for each character.

Three campaigns in and we're still stuck with the same amount of storage space as we were given for the original prophecies! Well, discounting the materials tab that is.

If they aren't going to increase storage anytime soon, then why not give us the ability to drop a full ten slot bag into each storage slot? That would help a hell of a lot.

I really honestly wish that each campaign key you have on would add 25 slots to your storage. I am past sick of juggling just to play a character (dyes, runes, keys, insignias, armor sets, collector items, holiday items, etc... we all know the list now.) My brain just cant keep track of who has what when there are 5 accounts and 24 characters for our household.

"Want to go to __name of area__?"
"Sure, just give me a bit to cycle through my characters/accounts and see who had the keys last. I know someone did."

"One more claw and I can get that scroll.... too tired to go out again tonight"
next week
"Who was I playing that had the claws?"

"Ahh!! There is that mod I needed before!! Wow, I have that over here?"
